Shellfish - Langoustines, Lobsters and more!
Langoustines, Norway lobster, Dublin Bay prawns or scampi, are crustaceans which look like very large prawns. They are fished at several locations off the British coast, especially the deep, narrow sea lochs of the west coast of Scotland. Our langoustines primarily come from pristine Scottish waters and are delicious to eat.
Lobster is probably the most expensive shellfish partly due to the difficulty in catching them in individual parts close to rocky conditions. Lobsters are a beautiful sapphire blue colour until cooked when they become an orange/red. Many people believe that lobsters are always this colour! Lobsters once grown out of the juvenile stage have few if any predators apart from man.
We also supply a wide range of other seafods and shellfish from tiger prawns to mussells
